Christmas Outfits | Day & Night with Brand Attic

Hey Ladies,

I personally think it is completely acceptable to start thinking about what to wear around and for Christmas Day! For most women (and some men!) their work's Christmas Party is a big deal, myself included! I've never actually had a work's Christmas party before, so this year will be my first! It's all about the sequin, sparkle and glitter! However, not everyone goes to Christmas parties where you would normally expect a more formal attire, some people are quite happy with a smart/casual meal or a trip to the cinema with friends. It's the same on the day itself; I personally don't like to wear a sequin dress for my Christmas dinner when I'm just in the house but prefer to just dress smart/casual. It's really entirely what best works for you and the circumstances on the day.

With this in mind, I thought I would create some inspiration for a 'Day' and a 'Night' outfit depending on what occassion you have coming up for Christmas or how dressy you want to be!

I wanted to creat a 'Day' outfit that keeps it fancy enough so that it keeps Christmas as a special occasion but also so that it isn't too much effort and can be worn comfortable all day if needed. I paired these amazing skinny leg denim dungarees with a pussy bow blouse and these amazing big chunky ankle boots, which are in-keeping with the monochrome theme. Simple yet effective! I added a little tinsel for a little bit of fun!

My 'Night' or more dressy outfit is less simplistic and more sparkle! I wore this amazing gold/white sequin halter neck dress paired with a faux fur shawl and crackle gold stilettos! All the glamour! If you can't go all out at Christmas then when can you?! Christmas is the best excuse to wear sparkle, glitter and sequince all in one outfit! However, we can't forget how cold it get's in December, especially in little dresses, so a sophisticated deep coloured camel mac coat to compliment the gold in the rest of the outfit is entirely necessary.

Black Is The New Black

*Dress - Niosie
Heels - Matalan
Clutch - Primark

Hey Ladies,

I've finally managed to get a blog post up with my new hair and I'm loving this silver colour, especially at this time of year! I had been with pink hair for over a year now so I fancied a change, and with all the deep red and wine colours that Autumn/Winter brings (which I absolutely love!) I thought silver hair might complement this better.

I also feel the silver hair gives a more sophisticated look; with this dress for example, I feel it looks classy and almost mysterious. I love the fit of this dress; I've always been a fan of a fishtail! Never be afraid to wear all black; I paired the dress with black accessories to finish the look off for a high-class event.

P.S. The lovelies over at Niosie gave me a discount code for 10% off any order! Use code 'NST10' at checkout.

First Winter Coat

Coat - Primark
Dungaree Dress - Primark
Top - Primark
Boots - Primark

Hey Ladies,

I love outfits when they're entirely from Primark and people say to you ''No way?!'' and ''You're kidding?!'', well I'm not. My entire outfit is from Primark. I never find this hard to believe because I've always been a fan of Primark, especially in the Autumn/Winter seasons. I know some of their stuff may have been a little on the flimsy side a good few years ago, but all stores have to come from somewhere right?

I think my biggest obsession with Primark is their coats! Last year I think I almost bought their entire coat range! Ok well maybe not all of them but believe me a good few (there's a video on my Youtube channel from last year on my Primark coat collection if you're interested!). This coat is my first Primark coat purchase of the season. Since I've purchased it it has also come out in two other colours; black and a deep tan brown colour. I love this one however and have literally worn it almost every day since buying it, although I've actually had the faux fur collar off until just recently as it is only just getting chilly enough to need it. I put the coat with these cute boots and dungaree dress in my favourite colour of the moment; a deep red burgundy/wine/Bordeaux colour or whatever you want to call it!

I know the deep red colour clashes with my hair but I have recently died my hair silver/grey and these blog posts should catch up eventually!

Chanel Suit - Part Deux

Blazer - River Island (Similar)
Trousers - River Island (Similar)
Vest - Primark
Heels - Matalan
Clutch Bag - Primark

Hey Ladies,

If you're a regular to my blog then you may remember a few weeks back when I posted my 'Chanel Suit' post, well this is the trouser version of it! Like I said then this suit is unfortunately no longer available but I have linked similar options above.

I'll always go back to clean cut tailoring and simplistic colours like black, white and grey. I love how monochrome can literally be styled and worn for any event. Take this suit for example, it's perfect for a business meeting or lunch but take the blazer off and the trousers can be worn with pumps and a floaty floral vest for a more relaxed day time look. Or the blazer can be worn with an a-line midi skirt and Mary-Jane's for a preppy look for college or university.

I sometimes find that I have to remind myself that just because I have a two piece doesn't mean that I can't style and wear them separately. Does anyone else find this? Do you have to buy the both pieces in the set or do you only ever buy one part of the set?

Monochrome for Party Season?

Dress - Primark
Heels - Matalan
Clutch Bag - Ebay

Hey Ladies,

I'm feeling a little better and a little more like myself, so thought I'd share with you this lovely outfit I put together just before I died my hair silver/grey.

I'm a big fan of putting together whole outfits for under a certain price and this one comes in at under £30! I always like to have a good rummage through Primark sales and I picked out this dress for just £3! Party season is coming and if your like me your already thinking about what to wear to that Christmas Party! I love Christmas and the whole build up, and am excited to see the sequin, glitter and deep hues that already adorn our high street stores. However if you're not a fan of sequin then my advice is stick to monochrome. You really can't go wrong with black and white; it's classic and timeless, which can fit into any occasion. This white dress would be a perfect alternative

I personally can't wait for party season and already have my eye on an abundance of sequin dresses! Let me know what you think, do you like the sequin, deep colours of autumn/winter or do you prefer a more classic look?
