Hey Ladies,

Spring is almost here which means warmer weather, shorter hem lines and days out in the sun! As a pre-spring event to get me in the warmer weather mood, I'm hoping to head down to Cheltenham Racecourse for Ladies Day on the 11th March.

I've never been to the races but have always wanted to go! The Cheltenham Races looks like such a beautiful day out, especially Ladies Day; with it's hats, fascinators, matching bags and shoes! I just hope my chosen outfit will be up to scratch!

I found this beautiful neon mint green dress in the Topshop sale and knew it was a perfect occasion dress. I love the print with the colours; although it is neon, it is still a smart dress as the green is more of a minty green and not flourescent. I used the black and white from the floral pattern to carry the colours through into my accesories; a patent white clutch with patent black court shoes.

You have to think about what you're comfortable wearing as you will be outside, probably standing for most of the day. With this in mind, I went for mid heels and a slightly longer coat. So as to be able to stand all day comfortably and keep warm!

Of course I had to add a little fascinator! I went for a mini black top hat with a little netting. It's attached to a hairband so it shouldn't be a problem for it to stay in place all day.

If you're thinking that you would like to head to the races, enter #colourmemarch 's competition to win two tickets for you and a friend to go to Ladies Day at Cheltenham Races. Just upload an outfit you would wear to the races if you won at http:www.thefestival15.co.uk/colourmemarch and you could be on your way! Don't forget it's all about colour so don't be afraid to get colourful!

Even if you're not up for braving the weather in a dress like mine, you could still enter as there are many other prizes up for grabs!

I hope you enjoyed my races day outfit!

Love Sarah xo
